Do not put the vehicle back on the road until it passes the same checks a shop would apply: pedal height and feel restored per the service information, no leaks at any fitting under pressure, reservoir at the correct level, every required bleed and calibration step actually completed, and no brake warning indicators. If any of those fail, the job is not done.
Do not continue driving with a suspected hydraulic braking fault. Move the vehicle only as far as necessary to reach a safe stopping position, then arrange professional inspection or towing. Before You Buy: Confirm It Is Actually the Master Cylinder
Pedal feel narrows the problem to a system, not a component:
