Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking technology from Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram). It sets cookies and browser identifiers that let Meta recognise a visit as coming from one of our ads.
We use it for one purpose: to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising reaches buyers who actually need a brake part. It tells us how many requests an ad produced — not who you are.
Two events are reported: a page view, and a completed request form. The form event carries only two fields — which form it was, and the reference number shown on your confirmation screen. Your email address, name and phone number are never sent to Meta.
Information you send us
When you submit a request or RFQ form we receive what you typed: your email address, company, role, the part or vehicle you are asking about, your message, and any file you attach. We use it to answer that request and nothing else. It reaches us by email — we do not sell it and we do not pass it to advertisers.
Orders sent from the cart are also saved on our server as an order record: the parts, quantities, and the contact and shipping details you entered. We keep it so we can look up exactly which part you chose, and we do not share it.
Signals attached to a submission
Each submission also carries approximate technical context: country, approximate city or region, time zone, network provider, browser language, and the page you came from. It helps us separate a real buyer from automated spam and reply in the right language. We do not store your raw IP address.
Stored in your browser
Your RFQ tray, cart and recent request receipts are kept in your own browser storage. They stay on your device, are never sent to third parties, and clearing your browser data removes them.
How to opt out
- Turn on your browser’s tracking protection, or use any ad-blocking extension — either one stops the Meta Pixel from loading. This site works normally without it.
- Change what Meta shows you in your Meta ad preferences. facebook.com/adpreferences
- Write to us to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted: contact@vactiro.com
